About Charlie Craggs


Charlie Craggs, 25, is a trans activist, author and the founder of award winning campaign Nail Transphobia. Charlie was ranked #1 on the Observer's 2016 New Radicals list of social innovators in Britain, and was the recipient of a Marie Claire Future Shaper award in 2017. She has been named one of the most influential and inspirational LGBT people in the UK by both the Guardian and the Independent on the Rainbow List and Pride Power List, and has starred in campaigns for the United Nations, Selfridges, the Victoria & Albert Museum and Stonewall. She regularly writes and speaks about trans issues for numerous publications (Teen Vogue, Broadly, Huff Post), on the news (BBC, ITV & Sky) and at the Houses of Parliament. In 2017 she wrote her first book, To My Trans Sisters, and went global with Nail Transphobia, being invited to bring her pop up nail salon state-side to New York Pride.
